Project Accountant

Looking for a new opportunity?

We are currently looking for a Project Accountant for our office in Richmond, BC supporting our Western Canadian business unit.

The primary responsibilities of the position will include, but are not limited to:

• Lead customer invoicing processes, including construction progress draws, ensuring timely and accurate billing
• Oversee vendor invoice entry and prepare cheques with accuracy and efficiency
• Collaborate with Credit & Collections and Project Managers to ensure timely A/R collections
• Prepare and finalize monthly bank reconciliations
• Support Project Managers with monthly inventory counts and ensure accurate documentation
• Track, analyze, and report on project profitability, identifying cost-saving opportunities

What You'll Bring:

• Successful completion of a University Degree or College Diploma
• Interest in the construction industry and a willingness to learn and grow within the sector
• Past experience in construction booking would be considered an asset
• Knowledge of the construction industry would be considered an asset
• Positive attitude and willingness to commit to our company
• Strong interpersonal & communication skills
• A valid driver's license with access to a vehicle
• Ability to thrive in a team-oriented and fun work environment
