We are looking for you to join our growing team in Karlsruhe as a full-time (40 hours per week) Project Contract Manager (m/f/d).
Your mission
- You act as the central point of contact within the supply chain organization for the project teams of your assigned projects.
- You develop and manage project-specific procurement strategies and coordinate closely between the project and procurement organizations.
- You take on the interface role between suppliers/contractors and the project teams, facilitating alignment and resolving queries.
- You are responsible for contract management, ensuring contract compliance and overseeing variation, claim, and dispute management.
- You identify contract-related project risks and, together with the project team, define, monitor, and steer appropriate mitigation measures.
- You actively manage supplier relationships, driving continuous improvement, supplier development, as well as innovation and value creation initiatives.
- You lead project-related sourcing and negotiation activities and coordinate the entire purchasing process.
Your profile
- You hold a bachelor’s degree or a comparable qualification in a relevant field such as business, law, supply chain, or engineering.
- You ideally have more than five years of professional experience in procurement and contract management for large EPC/EPCM and construction contracts.
- You bring several years of experience in large CAPEX projects within the E&P, chemical, or energy industries.
- You communicate fluently and confidently in both German and English and present yourself professionally in international and cross-functional environments.
- You conduct negotiations confidently and in a goal-oriented manner—even under time pressure.
- You take a solution-oriented approach, identify challenges early, and address them proactively.
- You enjoy working in a team and are willing to travel for negotiations and supplier meetings.
