Project Finance Officer - Fixed Term Contract

This role offers a fixed term contract of 12 months.

Why this role matters

Your primary scope will be the financing of new and existing offshore wind parks in and outside Europe with a strong focus on financial modelling.

In this role you will:

· Perform financial modelling, structuring and scenario analysis including coordination with all stakeholders to gather and understand the most up to date information

· Participate in the project developments including interaction with internal committees, partners, lenders and advisors

· Support the preparation and review of internal and external economic presentations

· Support the preparation and review of due diligence reports

· Prepare or supervise the preparation of adequate bank reporting and covenants follow-up for the existing offshore wind financings

· Keep a close eye on financing trends in offshore wind and the renewable industry in general

The Team

You will join the Treasury & Economic Analysis team and be part of the wider Finance department of JERA Nex bp. The team is made up of approximately 15 people working to design and execute the best corporate and project finance solutions.

Requirements

To be successful in the role you will bring:

· Master’s degree in finance and/or engineering

· Minimum 5 years relevant experience in project finance and/or power sector finance

· Proven experience in Excel economic modelling

· Team-player

· Hands on, responsible, structured with strong analytical skills

· Good communication skills
