About this role

Our client, a leading company in the field of engineering and maintenance of large-scale technical plants, is now looking for a project manager (m/f/d) for the Plant Engineering department to strengthen its team in the Recklinghausen district in the north of the Ruhr area.

  • Professional management of a team of designers and calculation engineers (brownfield planning and piping calculations, etc.)

Requirements

  • Completed training as a mechanical engineer or a comparable qualification
  • If industrial mechanic or plant mechanic, then approximately 5 years of experience as a construction manager or foreman
  • Professional experience in brownfield planning and piping calculation
  • Several years of professional experience in the chemical or petrochemical industry
  • Experience as a project manager in engineering projects is an advantage
  • Structured, independent, and solution-oriented approach
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team
  • Professional and confident communication skills with customers
  • Good knowledge of German written and spoken
