Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations to assess mental health needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients and their families.
- Provide psychotherapy and counseling as appropriate, using evidence-based modalities.
- Manage psychiatric medications, including prescribing, monitoring, and adjusting dosages as needed.
- Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals, including psychologists, social workers, and nurses, to ensure holistic patient care.
Qualifications:
- MD or DO degree with completion of a residency in Psychiatry.
- Board certification in Psychiatry (or board-eligible).
- Valid state medical license and DEA registration.
- Strong diagnostic and therapeutic skills with a commitment to patient-centered care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.
