[What the role is]

As a Mechanical Engineer, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following :

[What you will be working on]

• Plan and execute maintenance activities on mechanical equipment to ensure its reliability in meeting operational requirements, and compliance with relevant statutory requirements
• Troubleshoot any equipment and system malfunctions on site, and develop effective corrective action plans.
• Plan, design and call tenders related to mechanical equipment for equipment maintenance, replacement, upgrading, and system enhancement capex projects
• Manage and implement contracts related to mechanical equipment to ensure works performed by contractors are executed according to objectives and within budget
• Effectively manage mechanical equipment assets and spare parts inventory using the Asset Management System (AMS) implemented by PUB.


During the course of the work, you may be required to work closely with departments, consultants and contractors.

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Candidates with relevant experience are preferred
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated and driven
  • Work well independently and also a good team player

Work Location

Candidate will be considered for deployment to Chestnut Ave Waterworks or Tuas Desalination Plant.
