Public-Sector Leadership Development Facilitator

AlphaGov (Casa Moon LLC d/b/a AlphaGov) delivers public-sector consulting for cities, counties, school systems, special districts, utilities, and related agencies. Our work spans classification and compensation, organizational and operational studies, research and program evaluation, economic and workforce analysis, surveys and community research, emergency management and resilience studies, leadership development and training, and applied data and infrastructure research.

We engage experienced practitioners as project-based collaborators. Engagements are remote-first with occasional client travel. When you authorize it, AlphaGov may name you as an expert collaborator or key personnel on proposals that match your expertise. We build ready teams for live pursuits — not speculative staffing banks.

This role is for public-sector leadership development facilitators who can support active and upcoming municipal leadership pursuits (for example Town of Leesburg Leadership Development and Management Consulting).

What you'll do:

- Design and facilitate leadership development and management consulting programs for municipal clients

- Deliver cohort workshops, coaching frameworks, competency models, and manager toolkits

- Align curriculum to public-sector leadership realities (councils, boards, bargaining environments, resident accountability)

- Produce program designs, evaluation metrics, and final reports for HR and executive sponsors

- Contribute leadership-development content and past-performance narrative to AlphaGov proposals (when permissioned)

Requirements:

Required:

Hands-on public-sector leadership development, management consulting, or municipal training program delivery

Ability to design curriculum and facilitate workshops for managers/supervisors

Requirements

Comfortable as a 1099 / project-based collaborator with travel as needed.

Nice to have:

Prior Virginia / Mid-Atlantic municipal or county leadership program experience

Coaching credentials (ICF or similar) or adult-learning credentials

Experience presenting to town councils, boards, or executive teams.
