We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Purchase Executive to join our dynamic procurement team in Visakhapatnam, India. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the complete purchasing lifecycle, from vendor selection and negotiation to inventory optimization and compliance. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure cost-effective procurement while maintaining the highest quality standards. • Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including identifying supplier needs, issuing purchase orders, and coordinating with vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods and services
• Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels based on departmental requirements and organizational standards, conducting regular stock assessments and adjusting par-stock levels accordingly
• Analyze supplier performance, negotiate contracts, and establish mutually beneficial relationships to achieve cost savings and improve procurement efficiency
• Verify all received goods against purchase specifications, quality standards, and documentation; reject non-conforming items and maintain detailed records of received, issued, and rejected materials
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies, quality assurance procedures, and regulatory standards; maintain transparent and organized documentation for audit purposes
• Collaborate with finance, operations, and departmental teams to forecast purchasing needs, track lead times, and manage budget allocations effectively
• Identify and implement process improvements to reduce waste, minimize spoilage, and enhance material handling practices
• Monitor expiration dates and product shelf life, ensuring timely rotation and disposal of expired or obsolete inventory
• Prepare regular reports on procurement activities, cost analysis, and inventory metrics to support data-driven decision-making
• Support team members by providing guidance on procurement procedures and fostering a collaborative work environment

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Commerce, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field
• Diploma or certification in Materials Management, Procurement, or Supply Chain Management (preferred)
• Proven experience in procurement, purchasing operations, or inventory management within a corporate or hospitality environment
• Strong proficiency with ERP systems and procurement software platforms
• Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills with the ability to build and maintain professional relationships
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities with strong attention to detail
• Proficiency in financial analysis, cost optimization, and budget management
• Solid understanding of quality assurance standards, compliance procedures, and inventory control best practices
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks efficiently
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data analysis tools
