Job Title: Python Developer

Location: Atlanta, GA

Duration: Contract

Responsibilities:

·Work closely with RM Pricing Transformation Analytics team to translate analytical prototypes into production models including associated scripting, error handling and documentation.

·Execute updates to production models, working with RM and NJ IT as required.

·Independently able to make minor changes to the production code if input or output structures change, e.g., fields are added, renamed or redefined, or service groups added; and d) Perform regular maintenance of production models including troubleshooting of TP 2.0 internal errors captured in the TP 2.0 error log.

Details of Position:

·Strong SQL skills (creating complex statements, views, tables, etc.)

·2+ years of Python experience; pandas & scipy packages as well.

·Expert level proficiency in SQL, Data Modeling, Data Quality.

·Experience with an ETL tool (e.g. Talend, Data Stage, SSIS, Pentaho, etc.)

·Data Warehousing knowledge / experience (Dimensional and Schema design).

·Ability to write small scripts in Unix / Bash

Management Skills:

·Application development experience using advanced Python skills required.

·SQL Server query performance optimization, file manipulation, exception handling.

·5-8 years of experience in systems analysis, applications development and systems architecture

·T-SQL experience - performance tuning, DTS/SSIS, stored procedures, triggers, views. Microsoft SQL Server dbms expertise preferred.
