What will your role be? 

We are looking for a Python Developer to perform the following activities: 

• Analysis and definition of the functional and technical requirements of the solution
• Development of Computer Vision and Artificial Intelligence solutions for the automatic detection of pantograph anomalies and defects
• Preparation and analysis of datasets, including AI model training, retraining and tuning where required
• Development, testing and validation of object detection and image processing algorithms
• Integration of the solution within the CIS/HMAX architecture, both on Edge components and server-side
• Execution of testing, performance assessment and solution optimization
• Support for field testing and V&V activities in collaboration with technical teams and the Customer
• Management of code and Continuous Integration, automated testing and deployment activities

Qualifications

What are we looking for in you? Experience and competencies 

• Experience in Python and in developing AI-based solutions
• Experience in computer vision and image recognition, with particular reference to libraries such as OpenCV
• Experience in managing and analysing datasets
• Knowledge of YOLO
• Knowledge of C/C++
• Experience in developing for electronic boards / embedded systems
• Tasks relating to pantograph monitoring

• Italian (Fluent)
