QA Automation Engineer

360dialog is a dynamic and expanding app marketing automation start-up based in the heart of Berlin. As a first-mover in the market, we help brands to (re)engage and convert their audience in order to maximize customer lifetime value and enhance the customer journey. We were chosen as experts in mobile solutions for major players (such as Axel Springer group or LOVOO).

Our platform deals with huge amounts of data and billions of requests. Our international and multi-disciplinary team, consisting of Developers, QA Engineers, Product Managers and Data Scientists, has an excellent proven track record in real-time computing (working in Finance and AdTech). Together we are developing the next generation of marketing automation technology. Distributed and fault tolerant, our system is able to process vast amounts of data in real-time. We are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to work in the design, development and execution of automated tests around our platform in order to meet the high standards expected by our Customers.

Your responsibilities:

• Review requirement specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback to Product Managers and Developers.
• Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases.
• Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities.
• Design, develop and execute automation scripts.

Our Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of proven track in developing or testing highly scalable distributed systems.
• Excellent coding skills using scripting languages (ideally Python and Shell).
• Preferably some understanding of the ecosystem (AdTech or MarTech).
• Good understanding of mobile platforms.
• Ability to work in Agile environment.
