QA Engineer / Systems Test Engineer

We are looking for a QA Engineer / Systems Test Engineer with strong experience in manual and automated testing of software and integrated hardware-software systems.

You will work with Android, web and desktop applications as well as dedicated test environments and test stands, collaborating closely with developers and other engineering teams to ensure product quality throughout development and release.

The role is particularly suited to someone who enjoys working across both software and physical systems and can take independent ownership of the testing process.

Key Responsibilities

• Test Android, web and desktop applications across different environments
• Work with dedicated test stands and integrated hardware-software systems
• Analyse requirements, specifications and user stories for testability, completeness and ambiguity
• Identify questions, risks and potential quality issues early in the development process
• Design, document and maintain test cases and testing documentation
• Build and maintain automated tests
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
• Maintain test environments and support reliable test execution
• Work closely with developers and other cross-functional teams to investigate and resolve defects
• Act as an independent quality checkpoint throughout product development and release

Requirements

• Professional experience in QA and software testing
• Practical experience with QA automation, including developing automated tests and integrating them into CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with scripting or programming languages used in test automation, such as Python, Java or similar
• Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools
• Experience with version control systems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Structured and detail-oriented approach to testing
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of testing activities
• Strong communication and collaboration skills in cross-functional, multicultural teams
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Experience with security technology, AI-driven systems or hardware-integrated products is an advantage
