QA / QC Manager

We are seeking an experienced QA/QC Manager to lead the Quality Department for major building construction projects in Qatar.

The QA/QC Manager will be responsible for establishing, implementing, maintaining, and continuously improving the Project Quality Management System (PQMS) to ensure all construction activities comply with contract requirements, approved drawings, project specifications, applicable codes, company procedures, and international quality standards.

The successful candidate will lead the project Quality team and work closely with Engineering, Construction, MEP, Procurement, Planning, Consultants, Clients, and Subcontractors to ensure quality objectives are achieved throughout the project lifecycle.

This position is intended for professionals with extensive Tier-1 Main Contractor experience in building construction. Candidates whose experience is primarily with consultants, laboratories, or third-party inspection companies will not be considered.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related Engineering discipline.

15–20 years of experience in QA/QC for major building construction projects.

Minimum 10 years with Tier-1 or Tier-2 Main Contractors.

Minimum 5 years in a QA/QC Manager or Senior QA/QC Engineer leadership role.

Proven experience implementing and managing Project Quality Management Systems (PQMS).

Extensive experience with:

• High-rise Buildings
• Commercial Buildings
• Residential Towers
• Mixed-use Developments
• Hospitality Projects
• Healthcare Projects

Strong knowledge of:

• ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems
• Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs)
• Method Statements
• Material Inspections
• Shop Drawing Compliance
• QA/QC Documentation
• NCR Management
• Corrective & Preventive Actions (CAPA)
• Root Cause Analysis

Experience coordinating with Consultants and Clients on quality matters.

Experience leading multidisciplinary QA/QC teams.

Previous experience on major building construction projects in Qatar or GCC.

Strong knowledge of international construction codes and quality standards.

Excellent leadership, communication, and report-writing skills.
