Quality Assurance Officer

About the role

As a QA Officer you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and safety of products at Kitchen Food Company's manufacturing site in Meadowbrook, QLD.
Working a full-time Monday to Friday you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive quality assurance checks throughout the production process to uphold the company's high standards.

What you'll do

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled quality inspections on raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished products
• Monitor production processes and identify any deviations from established quality control protocols
• Liaise with production teams to implement corrective actions and ensure quality improvements
• Maintain detailed documentation and records of all quality control activities
• Support the continuous improvement of quality systems and procedures
• Assist with the investigation and resolution of customer complaints and quality-related issues
• Comply with all relevant health, safety, and environmental policies

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Quality Assurance Officer, preferably in a food manufacturing environment
• Minimum 3 years' work experience in a food manufacturing environment
• Strong working knowledge of quality control principles, methods, and best practices
• Proficient in using quality control tools and techniques
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented production environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Relevant qualifications in Quality Assurance, Food Technology, or a related field
• Qualifications in Food Science or similar at any level accepted
