Position Summary:

Quality specialist ensures products, services, or processes meet established standards and customer expectations. They are responsible for developing and implementing quality control procedures, monitoring performance, identifying defects, and driving continuous improvement. Their role is crucial for maintaining quality, enhancing efficiency, and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Pay: $25 per hour

Shift- 6:00am- 2:30pm Monday to Friday

Requirements:

• Legally authorized to work in the US (no Visa or Sponsorship provided)
• Associate's degree in a technical field and 3-5 years of experience OR HighSchool/GED diploma with 10+ years of experience
• Experience using measuring tools (caliper, micrometers,etc..)
• Core tools: Quality 7- tools, PFEMA, APQP, PPAP, MSA, SPC
• MS Office
• Proactively contributes to the team.
• Planning and prioritizing activities
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to present data effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

Developing and Implementing Quality Management Systems:

• Establishing and maintaining quality control procedures, processes, and documentation Monitoring and Inspecting:

• Conduct regular audits, inspections, and testing of products, services, or processes to identify defects and areas for improvement.

Analyzing Data and Metrics:

• Collecting and analyzing quality data to identify trends, patterns, and root causes of issues.

Collaborating with Cross-Functional Teams:

• Working with various departments (e.g., engineering, production, customer service) to address quality issues and implement solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze customer quality data and develop corrective actions

• Program LPA Audits

• Follow up findings and corrective actions.

• Control documents, versions of Work instructions, QA alerts, Core tools.

• Make presentations to demonstrate the overall performance from LPA Audits and corrective actions follow up.

• Coordinate inspection activities in the areas, ensure the completion of the inspections programed on the production floor CBA, EOL, Random inspection and LPA’S.

• Present all types of information to higher management team.

• FPY data capture and present result

• Work with the team to make root cause and present result

• Follow ICAT to validate the actions has been closed

• Collaborate with other facilities to ensure that training practices are appropriate and consistent across the organization.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Create Presentations.

• Complete other projects as necessary.

• Able to work with vendors on quality issues.

• Follow 6s procedures.

• Interact with Toolroom and Maintenance Departments on equipment and tool repair and development of new equipment and tools.

• Attend daily huddles and other meetings to ensure smooth flow of communication.

• Follow safety policies and procedures. Attending regularly scheduled safety meetings.
