MetroCorps Private Limited is a newly established project management company in Gachibowli, Hyderabad, delivering engineering design, procurement and project controls for design-build projects of US clients across Africa, the GCC and Europe. Every project is designed through conceptual, developmental, pre-final and final stages with licensed US Professional Engineers, and taken from the first page of the RFP to handover. The role

We are building the founding team of our Hyderabad office and are looking for a Quality Control Manager to own quality on our international design-build projects. You will set up and run the quality management system, from quality plans and inspection and test plans to submittal review, non-conformance control and project close-out, and hold project teams to the specification under schedule pressure.

What you will do

• Set up and maintain the project quality management system: quality plans, procedures and inspection and test plans for each project.
• Review design and material submittals for technical compliance with the specifications and international contracting standards before they go to the client.
• Plan and lead inspections, factory and site acceptance tests, and quality audits of suppliers and subcontractors.
• Raise and track non-conformance reports, drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to closure, and report quality trends.
• Maintain quality records: inspection registers, test certificates, calibration records and punch lists.
• Coordinate with the design, procurement and site teams, and with client quality representatives, across time zones.
• Compile the quality documentation for project close-out and handover, and write clear quality reports for management and clients.

What we are looking for

• B.E./B.Tech in Civil, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• 4–6 years of quality leadership on construction or EPC projects with a reputed contractor, EPC/GC or PMC.
• Hands-on ownership of quality plans, inspection and test plans, NCR and CAPA cycles and supplier quality audits.
• Submittal review for technical compliance against specifications and international standards.
• ISO 9001 experience; lead-auditor certification an advantage.
• The authority to hold a project team to a quality requirement under schedule pressure.
• Excellent written English and strong report writing.
