Quality Engineering Technician

We’re looking for a Quality Engineering Technician to support our team by driving quality initiatives, performing hands-on inspection and validation, and ensuring products meet rigorous standards from production through customer delivery.

What you’ll do:

• Troubleshoot and resolve quality concerns in production or from customers.
• Document problem resolutions and corrective actions.
• Coordinate customer inspections and manage order testing and certifications.
• Perform or coordinate validation of controlled processes, such as welding, soldering, painting, etc. This would include cross-sectioning of welds and solders, testing the adhesion of paint, and monitoring in-process inspections in Production.
• Conduct or support in-process, final, and vendor inspections, using tools such as the CMM and Niton Analyzer.
• Coordinate or perform calibration of in-house test equipment, such as the CMM, Niton Analyzer, and test benches. Support with the calibration of gauging.
• Monitor scrap, conduct Pareto analysis, and support corrective action initiatives.
• Maintain and revise quality documentation such as test forms, work instructions, and procedures.
• Measure and analyze key quality performance data and recommend improvement opportunities.
• Facilitate internal issue resolution through our Corrective Action system (LifeLines)

What you need:

• Associates Degree in Technical field.
• AND two years related experience
• OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
