About the Role

The Quality Specialist develops, implements, and improves quality plans, programs, procedures, and systems using statistical analyses, lean manufacturing concepts, and six sigma tools. The incumbent reviews, analyzes, and reports on quality system and process discrepancies, developing and implementing best practices for standardization and excellence to ensure performance and quality products conform to established company and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

Work Model: Hybrid / Flexible (Alvedro Office: Flexible working hours with free afternoon Fridays)

  • Audit and test the quality system to ensure sustainability of processes and compliance with company and legal requirements.
  • Develop, update, and deliver Avery Dennison quality system training programs across all levels of site employees.
  • Investigate quality problems using root cause analysis and develop dispositions and corrective actions in agreement with operations leads.
  • Report on quality performance metrics to site leadership and collaborate with the global quality team to deploy and maintain global quality standards.
  • Support compliance and client audit activities, oversee the document control system, and drive process changes to reduce variation.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of dedicated quality experience.
  • Excellent proficiency in Spanish and proficient in English.

Skills you need to succeed:

  • Certified Auditor or Certified Quality Analyst preferred, with strong technical, auditing, and statistical skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and proficiency in IT tools (Google Workspace).
  • Demonstrated collaboration and partnering attitude to interface effectively across departments and global teams.
