Quality Specialist

Position Summary :

The Quality Specialist will perform routine quality inspections, measurements, sampling, and monitoring activities to ensure that raw materials, production processes, packaging materials, and finished products meet approved quality and food safety requirements.

Job Description :

• Conduct sampling and inspection of raw materials and packaging materials and monitor the product quality during production and packing operations.
• Perform required measurements and tests according to approved methods.
• Monitor hygiene and GMP compliance within production areas
• Identify and segregate non-conforming products/materials as instructed
• Complete quality inspection records accurately on time
• Maintain proper documentation and traceability records
• Ensure that measuring equipment used is within valid calibration status.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper organization of the quality inspection area

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in food science Agriculture, science or a related field
• Basic knowledge of HACCP, GMP, PRPs, CCPs and OPRPs
• Basic Knowledge of ISO 22000/FSSC and ISO 9001
• Good command of Microsoft Office
• 0-1 Years of relevant experience in quality /QA/QC in food industry
