Job Summary
The SPE Quick Response Team Lead is responsible for overseeing daily team workflow, setting performance goals, and collaborating with other supervisors. Strong attention to detail and the ability to address challenges effectively are essential for success.
Duties/Responsibilities of Harness Assembly Technician
- Maintain accurate documentation.
- Submit detailed reports to Production Manager.
- Collaborate with all SurePoint Electronics Supervisors.
- Regularly look for opportunities to develop new and more efficient procedures.
- Partner with Production Manager to manage workflow.
- Meet frequently with Purchasing to ensure we have the correct parts in stock.
- Approve timesheets and days off for team members.
- Prepare and submit performance reports.
- Coach team members to ensure success.
- Monitor team member productivity and help create development plans if needed.
- Maintain personnel records.
- Hire and train new employees.
- Assemble wire harnessing.
- Work with SurePoint Ag team leaders and Sales team to set priority items.
Requirements and Skills
- Competence in using tools (e.g., hand tools) and soldering tools.
- Great understanding of quality control principles.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to follow verbal instructions.
- Task prioritization and management.
Team Lead Responsibilities
As Team Lead, you will oversee daily activities, guide inspectors through their responsibilities, and complete all BambooHR supervisor actions for your team. Working with other supervisors to establish clear expectations is essential. Strong communication with team members and colleagues is critical.
This role requires the ability to resolve workplace challenges, review and improve quality work processes, and set team goals. You will also be responsible for approving and tracking time off.
