Rack Cutting & Grinder

Job Summary

Responsible for safely operating cutting tools, including grinders and saws, to dismantle racks and prepare materials for processing. This position requires attention to detail, safe equipment handling, and the ability to work efficiently in a manufacturing environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Operate grinders, saws, and other approved cutting tools to cut racks apart for processing.
• Follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Inspect tools and equipment before use and report any damage or safety concerns.
• Handle, move, and organize rack components and materials as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow supervisor instructions and established work procedures.
• Meet production expectations while maintaining quality and safety standards.
  

Qualifications & Requirements

• Ability to safely operate or learn to operate grinders, saws, and other cutting equipment.
• Ability to lift and move materials as required.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
• Previous manufacturing or cutting-tool experience preferred.

Starting Pay: $18.00 per hour
