R&D Senior Analyst

VIANEX S.A., the leading Greek pharmaceutical company, is looking to hire an R&D Senior Analyst for its state-of-the-art R&D Center, based in Patras.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing analytical development activities for generic pharmaceutical products, supporting formulation development through analytical testing and contributing to method validation, transfer and continuous improvement activities.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Perform analytical method development, optimization and verification for generic pharmaceutical products across different dosage forms.
• Support formulation development activities through analytical testing, data evaluation and identification of potential formulation- or process-related issues.
• Investigate analytical results, deviations and unexpected findings during the development phase and contribute to root-cause investigations and problem-solving activities.
• Support analytical method validation and transfer activities in compliance with applicable guidelines, regulatory requirements and internal procedures.
• Prepare analytical reports, protocols, worksheets and other technical documentation related to analytical development, validation and transfer activities.
• Review, evaluate and interpret analytical data generated throughout pharmaceutical development activities.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement and optimization of analytical methods, laboratory practices and development processes.
• Collaborate with colleagues and cross-functional teams to support the successful execution of pharmaceutical development projects.

Qualifications & Experience

• BSc or MSc Degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences or a related scientific discipline.
• 2–5 years of relevant professional experience in analytical development. Previous experience within the pharmaceutical industry will be considered an advantage.
• Good understanding of analytical development activities and methodologies.
• Good analytical thinking, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to evaluate and interpret analytical data accurately and effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
