Real Estate Appraiser

As Mano bankas rapidly expands, we are looking for a Internal Valuer to join our team.

The Internal Valuer is responsible for performing and reviewing valuations of property used as collateral, ensuring their quality, reliability and compliance with applicable regulations and internal policies. The role supports credit risk management and contributes to the development of the Bank’s collateral valuation and monitoring framework.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Perform internal valuations of immovable and, where relevant, movable property for the Bank’s internal purposes;

• Review external valuation reports and assess whether they are complete, objective, well supported by market data and suitable for use in credit risk processes;

• Provide professional conclusions on collateral value, collateral acceptability and key valuation risks;

• Identify valuation deficiencies, outdated assumptions or other issues that may affect the reliability of collateral values;

• Monitor timely collateral revaluations, including periodic and event-driven revaluations;

• Analyse market value trends and changes in collateral coverage;

• Support credit, risk, finance, legal and recovery teams on collateral valuation matters;

• Contribute to the improvement of internal policies, procedures and methodologies related to collateral valuation and monitoring;

• Cooperate with external valuers and support the quality control of their work.

We expect you to have:

• Higher education in finance, economics, real estate, valuation, engineering, business, law or another relevant field;

• Valid licences/certifications to perform real estate, movable property and business valuation, as required under applicable law;

• At least 3 years of practical experience in property valuation;

• Good understanding of real estate markets, valuation methodologies and valuation standards;

• Ability to review valuation reports, assess assumptions and identify weaknesses;

• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and sound professional judgement;

• Ability to communicate conclusions clearly, both verbally and in writing;

• Good cooperation skills and ability to work with different internal teams;

• Good MS Office skills;

• English language skills.
