Recruitment Specialist
AI Summary
Recruits disability service providers and organizations into the Employment Network program, guiding them through application and approval to expand the network and connect more beneficiaries to services.
About this role
About the Role
Employment Networks (ENs) are the organizations that deliver employment services to Social Security disability beneficiaries — job placement, career counseling, and ongoing support. This role grows that network. You'll recruit disability service providers into the program, guide them through the application process, and build the pipeline that gets more beneficiaries connected to quality services.
This is organizational recruitment, not candidate recruitment. Your targets are providers, not people.
COMPENSATION: Starting at $60,000 (Final offer will be based on a variety of factors)
What You'll Do
- Conduct outreach to community rehabilitation providers, disability service organizations, workforce boards, and other potential Employment Networks
- Build and maintain a pipeline supporting a target of up to 30 approved EN applications annually
- Guide interested organizations from initial contact through application and approval
- Present the program to provider audiences via webinars, conferences, and site visits
- Track pipeline activity and report on conversion metrics
- Serve as a knowledgeable resource on program requirements, EN responsibilities, and the payment structure
Why This Work Matters
Every provider you bring into the network expands the options available to someone trying to return to work. Growth here is measured in access.
Requirements
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum five years working with the disability community at a community rehabilitation provider or disability service provider — this is a firm requirement
- Demonstrated success building partnerships or provider relationships from outreach through agreement
- Strong presentation skills across virtual and in-person settings
- Comfort with pipeline tracking, CRM tools, and activity reporting
- Established network within the vocational rehabilitation or disability services community
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with Ticket to Work, Employment Network operations, or SSA work incentives
- Experience with state VR agencies or WIPA projects
- Conference presence in the disability employment space (APSE, CSAVR, NDRN)
