Regional Manager - Nursing Home Food Service

Key Responsibilities

• Provide operational support and leadership to multiple healthcare facilities.
• Mentor and develop Food Service Directors and department teams.
• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and company regulations, including sanitation and food safety standards.
• Monitor food quality, resident satisfaction, and service excellence.
• Manage food and labor costs while meeting budget goals.
• Conduct facility audits and implement corrective action plans.
• Assist with recruiting, onboarding, and training new Food Service Directors.
• Promote a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

• Minimum 3–5 years of food service management experience, preferably in healthcare or long-term care.
• Multi-site management experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare, food service regulations, and sanitation standards.
• Excellent leadership, coaching, and communication skills.
• Ability to travel regularly throughout the assigned region.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and food service management systems.
• ServSafe Certification preferred.
