Our client is looking for an energetic Regional Operations Manager to lead an innovative pilot initiative featuring two bakery retail outlets in Berlin shopping centers. This distinctive dual-role position blends strategic oversight (50%) with direct retail involvement (50%), ideal for a business-minded professional who enjoys creating new ventures from the ground up.

In this on-ground leadership capacity, you'll represent the brand identity while maintaining direct communication with the Italian head office. Key Responsibilities

• Financial Oversight: Control operational costs and budget management
• Growth Planning: Develop strategies for future Berlin-area expansion

• Retail Operations: Work directly on sales floor serving customers (~50% of time)

Requirements

Essential:

• Entrepreneurial mindset with willingness to perform all tasks from sales to logistics
• Valid B driver's license
• Demonstrated experience in retail or food service combining hands-on operations with team management
• Ability to work flexibly
• Strong problem-solving abilities with autonomous working style and proactive initiative
• Excellent English language skills for headquarters communication

• Background in food retail or hospitality sector
• Previous experience in startup or expansion environments
