What you can expect from us
We are seeking a dynamic Regional Sales Manager Asia-Pacific to join our growing international sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing relationships with existing customers, developing new business opportunities, and driving profitable sales growth across the Asia-Pacific region. The role is based in China, with Shanghai, Hong Kong, or Guangzhou as the preferred location, Singapore is also possible – though not a requirement, as the position can also be performed remotely – and involves regular travel within the Asia-Pacific region.
Your Responsibilities
- Help to develop and implement the regional sales strategy for the Asia-Pacific region, aligned with the company’s global strategic objectives
- Build and maintain strong relationships with airline customers, leasing companies, and OEMs across the Asia-Pacific region
- Identify market opportunities, customer needs, and competitive developments in the Asia-Pacific market to inform product portfolio discussions
- Oversee pricing, commercial negotiations, bids, and contract management within the region, in line with global guidelines
- Collaborate closely with Engineering, Program Management, and Production to ensure customer satisfaction and flawless execution
- Represent ZIM Aircraft Seating at regional trade shows, industry events, and key customer meetings across the Asia-Pacific region
- Report directly to the Director Sales Asia-Pacific and contribute to the Asia-Pacific region’s strategic decision‑making
Your skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Aviation Management, or a related field
- Minimum 8 years of experience in sales or key account management roles, ideally within the aviation, aerospace, or aircraft interiors industry
- Proven track record of sales success in the Asia-Pacific market, including an established customer and industry network
- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship‑building skills
- Fluency in business-level English, both written and spoken; Mandarin is a plus
- Ability to navigate complex technical products and long sales cycles
- Entrepreneurial mindset, strategic thinking, and strong execution capability
- Willingness to travel within the Asia-Pacific region and internationally
