We're hiring Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs)!

Hampton + Newport News, VA | $21–$26/hr | Full-Time + Part-Time

As an RBT with HealthPro Pediatrics, you’ll work one-on-one with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other exceptionalities providing play-based ABA services alongside speech, occupational, and physical therapy under one roof! You'll make a difference every day helping them build skills, gain independence, and confidently navigate everyday challenges.

And because every kiddo learns differently, that might mean wearing a costume, working under a table, climbing a jungle gym, or singing your instructions!

  • We have clinics in Hampton, VA and right down the road in Newport News, VA!
• Schedules to fit your needs:
  • Full-Time: M-F 8 am - 6 pm! Part-Time: Afternoons M-F 3pm - 6pm!
  • Optional weekend hours available for clinicians wanting to make up hours missed during the work week!
• The compensation:
  • Hourly rates between $21-$26/hour with opportunities to earn more!

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children with Autism and other exceptionalities to build communication, social, and everyday life skills
• Help children reach their goals and learn new skills through play-based, individualized treatment plans created by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)—because one size does not fit all!
• Track progress and celebrate wins of all sizes
• Receive training and supervision from our multidisciplinary team of ABA clinicians and pediatric therapists while building experience in behavioral health and child development!

Qualifications

• A valid RBT certification or completion certificate for a 40-hour RBT certification course is preferred
  • Not an RBT yet? No worries! We have an on-site training program as a benefit!
• Valid CPR certification with the hands-on portion
  • We can help with that, too!

• Experience in the field of mental health, child development, or education is preferred

  • However, we encourage anyone to apply that enjoys being around children and has a passion for making a difference in their lives!

• Must be at least 18 years old and have, at minimum, completed high school or national equivalent

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
