Responsibilities

• Must be able to work in kid friendly environment
• Provides instrumentation by sterilizing and delivering instruments to treatment area; positioning instruments for dentist’s access; suctioning; passing instruments
• Provides diagnostic information by exposing and developing radiographic studies
• Prepares treatment room for patient by following prescribed procedures and protocols.
• Provides materials by selecting, mixing, and placing materials on instruments and in the patient’s mouth.
• Follow OSHA, Infection Control, and other standards for protection against blood borne pathogens.
• Clean and sterilize all instruments following OSHA Guidelines. This includes: scrubbing the instruments, packing the instruments, running the instruments through the statim or autoclave

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) program.
• Current X-Ray certification in the State of New Jersey
• CPR certified
• Ability to work on children in the State of New Jersey, determined through national FBI Fingerprinting Background Check.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:00pm, and every other Tuesday until 6:00pm

Compensation: Starting at $32.00

Location: Lodi, NJ

Dentistry for Children of New Jersey is a dental office dedicated to providing high-quality dental care for infants, children, and adolescents. Our team of dental professionals specializes in pediatric dentistry and works to create a comfortable and welcoming environment for children. We use the latest dental technology and techniques to provide preventative, restorative, and emergency dental care for their young patients. In addition to general dental services such as teeth cleanings and fillings, we offer a range of specialized services tailored to the unique needs of children, including orthodontic treatment, sedation dentistry, and treatment for special needs patients.
