Pro Med Healthcare Services is looking for a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) setting. This full-time position offers the opportunity to be part of a specialized surgical team, providing exceptional perioperative nursing care to cardiovascular patients.
- Start Time: ASAP
- Shift: 7a-7p
- Contract duration: 13 week
- On Call: 1 weekend of call a month plus 1-2 days of call during the week.
- Estimated Pay Package: $2100
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care to patients undergoing cardiovascular surgical procedures.
- Assist surgeons and anesthesiologists during CVOR surgeries, ensuring adherence to sterile techniques and patient safety protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and status throughout surgical procedures and recovery phases.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and optimize surgical outcomes.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care, surgical interventions, and post-operative assessments.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, regulatory standards, and infection control protocols.

Requirements
Job Requirements:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Minimum of 1 years of experience in perioperative nursing, preferably in cardiovascular surgical settings.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Strong knowledge of surgical instruments, sterile techniques, and CVOR procedures.
- Excellent communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
