Relief Primary School Teaching Assistant
The German European School Singapore (GESS) is looking for expressions of interest for Relief Primary School Teaching Assistant positions:
Responsibilities
·Assist with teaching in primary classrooms on an ad hoc basis
·Supervising and teaching small groups within a whole class or small group setting
·Helping to prepare lesson materials
·Filing and organising student work and resources
·Supervising students during lunchtimes and breaktimes
·Assisting lessons in art, physical education or other subjects, as needed
Requirements
·Must be proficient in English spoken and written language, classes will be conducted in English
·Fluency in other languages a plus as you will be communicating with colleagues and students who speak various languages
·Tertiary education qualifications a plus
·Experience working with children aged 5 to 11
·Willingness and ability to learn and take direction
·Flexibility, organisation skills and a caring attitude
·Availability to work on an ad hoc basis
