Relief SLN

This is an internal position within Wise Owl Animal Hospital available to those who have held the CVT position for a minimum of 1 year.

Become a "Relief SLN!"

As a Relief SLN you will run the shift and floor periodically when the SLNs are on vacation, in emergency situations, etc. You will be able to do most of the key duties SLNs perform on shift such as discounts, refunds, clinical audits and directing the team throughout the day.

Eligibility:

• Been a CVT for a minimum of 1 year
• In good standing

Role Specifics:

• You Will be trained in the basics of what SLNs need to do for a single shift (clearing tabs, refunds, discounts, clinical audits, Worker’s Comp, workflow of shift & basic laws to be aware of)
• You may be asked to be an SLN for shifts when another SLN is on vacation, current SLNs are not able to cover, in last minute emergency situations, etc. Being a relief SLN does NOT make you an SLN.
• You will not attend the SLN meetings etc except where the hospital is introducing a new item (procedure/software etc) that all SLNs need to be trained on.
