We're looking for a hardworking, reliable, and hands-on Field Collector or Skip Tracer to join us.
We are seeking a Remedial Officer who is responsible for managing delinquent accounts through legal recovery processes, including litigation and case filing. The role involves representing the company in court, preparing legal documentation, coordinating settlements, and ensuring proper monitoring and reporting of accounts under litigation.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Case Initiation and Documentation: Facilitate the recovery of delinquent accounts by preparing legal documents and organizing evidence required for case filing.
- Legal Representation: Represent First Circle in court proceedings, including executing affidavits on behalf of the firm and serving as a key witness when necessary.
- Legal Documents Drafting: Draft legal documents required for the litigation process
- Account Monitoring: Track the status of accounts under litigation to ensure all legal timelines and procedural requirements are met.
- Settlement Negotiation: Directly engage with customers to negotiate and establish settlement plans for outstanding debts.
- Reporting and Compliance: Prepare detailed reports on account status and hearing outcomes while ensuring the secure maintenance of all case-related evidence.
Requirements
- Experience: 2-3 years of experience in remedial support, administrative tasks, or related functions is preferred.
- Legal-related documentation: Experience in preparing demand letters or legal-related documentation is an advantage.
- Communication: Good written communication skills, particularly in drafting formal correspondence and legal-related documents.
- Confidentiality handling: Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
- Organized: Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple cases, tasks, and deadlines simultaneously. Strong attention to detail with excellent document management and record-keeping skills.
