We are currently seeking an experienced Remote Mechanical Engineer to support a leading U.S.-based MEP engineering firm on a high-profile semiconductor facility project. In this role, you will work remotely as part of a multidisciplinary design team, contributing to technically complex, mission-critical facility projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support mechanical system design for semiconductor and high-tech facilities including cleanrooms, manufacturing areas, labs, utility plants, and support spaces
  • Design and document HVAC and cleanroom systems as the primary focus area
  • Provide secondary support for process piping, chilled water, plumbing, and fire protection coordination
  • Develop construction documents and technical drawings using Revit and AutoCAD
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams and coordinate across MEP disciplines
  • Use Bluebeam for document review and project coordination
  • Ensure compliance with applicable building codes and industry standards

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (required)
  • 7–12 years of experience in MEP mechanical design
  • Strong emphasis on HVAC and cleanroom system design; experience with semiconductor or similarly complex technical facilities highly preferred
  • Experience with process piping, chilled water, plumbing, and fire protection coordination
  • Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam (required)
  • Familiarity with Navisworks, Trace, or similar software is a plus
  • Fluent in English (required)
  • Available to start mid-July 2026
