About this role
Joining our Warsaw team, you will contribute to the company’s work by developing analyses and conveying insights to enhance clients’ decision making. The position suits a recent graduate of a Bachelor’s or Master’s programme or a person with hands-on experience within the energy sector, consulting or research. The exact entry position will be dependent on experience and educational level. Key Responsibilities
- Develop timely and rigorous quantitative analyses to enhance clients’ decision making
- Work closely with our modelling team, structuring economic problems into quantifiable analyses and deriving insights from the model results
- Engage with clients to thoroughly understand their requirements
- Communicate findings to clients, turning analysis to insight by creating compelling presentations
- Contribute to Aurora’s product development, by identifying new opportunities and expanding our capabilities
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
Required attributes:
- A university degree in either a quantitative subject, coupled with a keen interest in policy developments or a social science, environmental studies or a related field, coupled with an interest in quantitative analysis
- An ability to collect, analyse and interpret complex data and information
- Evidence of strong performance in team-oriented environments
- An ability to communicate and collaborate with both technical and non-technical parties
- Full professional fluency in English and Polish
Desirable attributes:
- Enthusiasm for energy markets: previous professional or academic exposure to energy beneficial
- Demonstrated success in project management (professionally or e.g. at university)
- Understanding of the Polish/Czech/Slovak energy sector and challenges
- Proficiency in Slovak or Czech
