Overview

Are you passionate about science, engineering, and innovation?

Join East Penn Manufacturing's Research & Development team and gain hands-on experience contributing to the development and evaluation of battery technologies that power critical applications around the world.

As a Research & Development Engineering Intern, you'll work alongside experienced engineers and scientists on meaningful projects that support the advancement of current and emerging battery chemistries. This is an excellent opportunity to apply your classroom knowledge in a real-world research environment while developing technical, analytical, and professional skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with building and evaluating lead-acid and other battery chemistries
• Conduct electrochemical and cell performance testing
• Collect, analyze, and interpret technical data
• Prepare reports and present project findings to engineering teams
• Review and summarize scientific and technical publications
• Collaborate with engineers, researchers, and manufacturing personnel on project-based initiatives
• Support laboratory, office, and manufacturing-based research activities
