Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct interdisciplinary research involving economics, artificial intelligence, quantitative finance, blockchain, and computational modelling.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate economic, financial, and agent-based models using advanced computational and econometric methods.
• Design and implement AI- and large language model-enabled decision-making agents and research frameworks.
• Collect, process, and analyse large-scale financial, blockchain, market, and other relevant datasets using Python, MATLAB, SQL, and related analytical tools.
• Formulate research hypotheses, design empirical studies and experiments, and conduct robustness and validation analyses.
• Develop simulation environments, research prototypes, benchmarks, and analytical tools to support the project’s research objectives.
• Review relevant academic and industry literature and identify emerging research questions, methodologies, and technological developments.
• Prepare research papers, technical reports, presentations, and other research deliverables for publication in reputable journals and conferences.

Job Requirements:

• Preferably PhD in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
• Independent, highly analytical, proactive and a team player
• Excellent teamwork and verbal, written communication skills
• In-depth knowledge relevant to the project domain.
• Demonstrated capability to conduct innovative research.
• The ability and willingness to adapt and incorporate novel ideas and approaches in scientific industry.
• Demonstrated ability to formulate hypothesis and design effective experimental plans.
• Ability to design and implement new experimental methods.
• High-level expertise in the required experiment or modelling methods.
• Ability to initiate collaboration research in multidisciplinary team.
• Oversee and report project progress.
• Ability and willingness to work some flexible hours.
