Researcher in Bioanalytical Chemistry

Job Description:

We are looking for energetic, hardworking, and intelligent individuals to join an experimental research project focused on detecting clinical biomarkers using surface-enhanced spectroscopy. The project is based at the Chemistry Department of Nazarbayev University. We need energetic, hardworking, intelligent, and capable young people to move it forward. 

Location: Chemistry Department, Nazarbayev University
Duration: 2025-2026 (with possible extension)
Salary: ~460,000 KZT per month (before taxes, for qualified candidates)

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Background in Chemistry (Biology or Physics may also be considered)
• Preferable but not required:
  • Knowledge of English
  • Experience working in a chemistry lab
  • Experience in MATLAB and/or Python programming
• Education:
  • Master’s degree in Chemistry is preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree holders may also be considered
