We're looking for an experienced Resident Care Coordinator (RCC) who is passionate about resident care, enjoys leading and mentoring caregivers, and wants to play a key role in creating an exceptional experience for residents and families.


This is more than a scheduling and compliance position. You'll be a trusted leader, advocate, problem-solver, and partner to residents, families, and staff.

What You'll Do

As our Resident Care Coordinator, you'll help ensure residents receive exceptional care while supporting and guiding our caregiving team.


Resident Care & Wellness

  • Coordinate resident care and services across all shifts
  • Monitor resident health needs and communicate changes appropriately
  • Coordinate move-ins and help new residents transition smoothly into the community
  • Maintain resident records and ensure documentation meets regulatory requirements
  • Conduct weekly medication cart audits
  • Collaborate with physicians, hospitals, home health agencies, hospice providers, and families
  • Promote wellness across all dimensions of resident life—physical, emotional, social, intellectual, spiritual, and purposeful


Leadership & Team Support

  • Create and manage staffing schedules
  • Delegate assignments and ensure effective shift coverage
  • Support hiring, onboarding, and training efforts
  • Identify coaching and development opportunities for caregivers and medication technicians
  • Track required certifications and annual training renewals
  • Monitor attendance and support team accountability


Family & Community Relations

  • Serve as a trusted point of contact for residents and families
  • Assist with community tours and resident assessments when needed
  • Partner with the Executive Director and Wellness Director to resolve concerns proactively
  • Represent the community with professionalism and compassion


Required Qualifications

  • Medication Administration Certification
  • Minimum two years of senior living experience
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening

Preferred Qualifications

  • Assisted Living experience
  • Dementia care experience
  • Knowledge of South Carolina DHEC regulations
  • Previous supervisory or scheduling experience

Physical Requirements

This position requires standing, walking, bending, lifting, and pushing a medication cart. Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds.


Schedule

This leadership position requires flexibility and may include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
