Resident Medical Officer

Located at Jl. By Pass Ngurah Rai No.100X, Kuta. Bali International Medical Centre (BIMC) Kuta Hospital is a 24-hour medical and emergency centre of international standard. Its strategic location in the Kuta area makes it the preferred healthcare centre that is easily accessible to both locals and tourists. BIMC Kuta Hospital works in partnership with the International Assistance Group (IAG) and has received KARS accreditation from the Indonesian Ministry of Health with Plenary status.

  • Conduct physical examinations of patients, assess and diagnose illnesses, and offer medical recommendations and treatments
  • Prescribe medication to manage symptoms and treat illnesses.
  • Provide preventive medical advice and care, including routine check-ups and health screenings
  • Collect and maintain patient information, medical histories, and test results in electronic medical records
  • Collaborate with specialists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients
  • Engage in continuing education and remain up-to-date with advances in medical knowledge and technology
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain high standards of care

Qualifications

  • MD degree from an accredited medical school / university
  • Active STR 
  • A minimum of 1 years of clinical experience as a GP or Primary Care Physician
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively communicate with patients and other healthcare professionals
  • Strong diagnostic and decision-making skills

Additional Information

The RMO may work long hours, including evenings and weekends, and may be required to be available for emergency medical care. The work environment can be fast-paced and stressful with a high volume of patients, requiring the RMO to be able to work efficiently and effectively under pressure.
