Residential Electrician — Solar & Energy Storage (Will Train High Performers)

What You’ll Do

You won't just be pulling wire—you’ll be mastering modern microgrid systems, owning quality in the field, and positioning yourself for rapid career progression.

• Own On-Site Execution: Install, troubleshoot, and optimize residential electrical systems, solar arrays, battery backups, and EV chargers.
• Master Cutting-Edge Tech: Learn and apply the latest NEC standards and premium clean energy technology (including Sonnen intelligent energy management systems) through hands-on training and mentorship.
• Lead by Example: Maintain high standards of safety, code compliance, and clean workmanship across every job site.
• Represent the Brand: Work directly with local inspectors and Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs) to pass walkthroughs on the first attempt.
• Grow Into Leadership: Onboard, train, and mentor incoming crew members as you advance along our field leadership track.
• Keep Texas Powered: Participate in an on-call rotation for urgent evening/weekend service requests to keep our customers' systems running reliably.

What We’re Looking For

• Core Experience: Minimum 2 years of hands-on residential electrical experience.
• Licensing: Valid Texas Wireman or Electrician Apprentice License (Journeyman or Master preferred).
• Preferred Experience: Prior hands-on experience with solar PV or battery storage (experience with Sonnen systems is strongly preferred).
• Adaptability & Drive: Don't have solar or Sonnen experience? No problem. A strong aptitude for learning new tech quickly and mastering complex systems is what matters most.
• Ownership Mentality: High standards, pride in execution, and the confidence to troubleshoot problems on the fly.

Pay Ranges

Apprentice: $25.00 – $30.00 / hr

Wireman: $30.00 – $36.00 / hr

Journeyman: $36.00 – $40.00 / hr

Master: $42.00+ / hr

Tools & Support

Company Vehicle Issued: Fully equipped service unit provided.

Tools & Gear Provided: Everything you need to succeed on site.

Paid Specialized Training: Ongoing, hands-on certification on residential batteries (including Sonnen tech), EV gear, and smart energy systems.
