In this job you will be working with the public as part in a small maintenance team, and as part of a larger whole, so friendliness and communication skills are essential. Position Responsibilities:

  • Respond to maintenance work orders in timely manner.
  • Test, troubleshoot and perform basic repair plumbing, heating, electrical, mechanical, systems
  • Test, troubleshoot and perform basic repair on all types of equipment
  • Communicate necessary information to people across many hotel departments.
  • Work safely and work using best practices
  • Update the maintenance work order form and file them.
  • Prioritize and organize workload
  • Providing friendly and curious assistance to hotel guests and staff
  • Ability to read and understand test equipment, measuring devices, and safety manuals.
  • Perform maintenance activities in the guest room.
  • Perform maintenance activities in hotel’s public areas.
  • To clean, lubricate, protect, and otherwise maintain all tools and equipment in the hotel.
  • To monitor fire Alarm systems as necessary, handle emergencies involving the systems.
  • Carry out specific oral and written instructions.
  • Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets.
