About the role:
Retail Operations Associate - Paygo Phones will work closely with the operation team in Nigeria to ensure the organisation has adequate capacity to build new business units and expand existing operations in the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage stock reconciliation across assigned region(s) - reordering understocked SKUs, managing holding levels, tracking aged stock returns and reallocations.
- Facilitate phone repair logistics within SLA and customer pickups. Oversee reverse logistics adherence
- Track and report shop performance.
- Develop retail strategies that facilitates regional business goals. Resolve operational issues as they arise.
- Onboard new shop agents. Train shop agents on inventory management and reconciliation
- Communicate any inventory shortage, theft, or loss at the regional warehouse.
- Prepare weekly on hand stock report for all shops in region and make the report available for the Country Operations manager
- Follow up on any stock losses or unexplained variances at the store
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- Have a Bachelor’s degree or Higher Diploma in Supply Chain Management, or related discipline from a recognized institution
- Have a minimum of three (3) years’ progressive work experience in procurement and supply or inventory management in a multinational organization
- Strong technical knowledge of inventory management, reverse logistics, stock allocation, and retail systems.
- Demonstrate sound judgment, people, communication, presentation and reporting skills.
- Are result oriented with the ability to multitask.
- Are a team player and can demonstrate ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with various stakeholders. Have advanced computer skills eg. Microsoft excel application.
- Have experience working in ERP System and other inventory management application
