The Effector RF Design Department is seeking an RF Range Operator. This individual will collaborate closely with other Range Operators, Engineering staff, and Lab Leads to conduct electrical testing and to troubleshoot antennas and antenna assemblies ensuring compliance with specifications.

This role involves close interaction with leadership across multiple organizations. The candidate will leverage their understanding of a unit's operational theory to identify faulty products caused by design, workmanship, environmental factors, or component defects, and leverage their understanding of range measurement theory to identify test faults. Furthermore, the candidate will contribute to systems validation, testing, and analysis, supporting all phases of development and integration within engineering lab environments.

This position is an onsite role, located in Tucson, AZ.

What You Will Do:

• Operate an Antenna Measurement Range, including test execution, scheduling, and troubleshooting.
• Conduct preliminary analysis of antenna range test results against conformance of specifications.
• Collaborate with customers to develop test plans for execution on the antenna range.
• Support integration, testing, and validation processes.
• Prepare detailed documentation and present findings for team members.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and 2 years of prior relevant experience to include any combination of the following:
• Experience in testing and measurement of RF products such as antennas, including the operation of a vector network analyzer.
• Experience with interpreting and accurately following technical documents such as prints, schematics, sketches, and both verbal and written instructions, including test procedures.
• Experience with documenting observations and issues identified during testing and troubleshooting processes.

• Experience with antenna measurements and associated equipment.
• Ability to adapt to unforeseen situations and utilize creative problem-solving skills to identify alternative solutions.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a commitment to supporting collaborative work.
• Capable of preparing thorough and accurate documentation with minimal supervision.
• Exceptional communication abilities.

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
