Responsibilities & Requirements

The Registered Nurse (RN) delivers patient-centered nursing care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care in collaboration with the healthcare team. This role ensures the safety, quality, and continuity of care for patients across diverse clinical settings, supporting optimal patient outcomes and compliance with regulatory standards. Performs other duties as assigned. All job responsibilities are to be carried out in alignment with Kettering Health's mission, vision, values, and B Safe program.Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate Degree in Nursing or Bachelor of Science in Nursing).None required; clinical experience during nursing program accepted.Current, valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Ohio. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). One year of clinical nursing experience in an acute care or relevant specialty setting. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) or specialty certification applicable to clinical area.

Please be prepared for TEAMs interview initially for 30 minutes, dress professionally for the interview. After the interview, the selected candidate will be asked to shadow in our department for the hired timeframe, usually 645pm-10pm timeframe, more or less depending on your preference. We will send that information for shadowing if you are selected for possible candidate, there might be a follow up interview during the shadow process or a touch base with our charge nurses to ensure a great fit with our team.
