RN, Full-Time, 1st shift $8,500 Sign-on Bonus

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join the close-knit team in Deerfield's outpatient clinic. This is a Monday-Friday, 7:30am - 4:00pm position serving residents of our beautiful continuing care retirement community.

As the Independent Living Community Nurse, you will:

• Provide emergency response and clinical triage to Independent Living residents, assessing needs and coordinating appropriate interventions and follow-up care.
• Promote continuity of care for Independent Living residents through wellness check-in calls, home visits, and ongoing monitoring of identified healthcare needs.
• Deliver clinic-based nursing care, including nursing assessments, individualized care plans, wound care, phlebotomy, medication administration, and preparation of resident pill boxes.
• Coordinate transition of care to and from hospitals and other healthcare facilities.

The ideal candidate for this role is a caring, proactive, self-motivated nurse who is passionate about working with older adults. Will need to demonstrate confidence in nursing assessment and triage skills, exercise sound clinical judgment, and be able to respond effectively to the changing needs of Independent Living residents.

Requirements:

• Active, unrestricted RN licensure in the State of North Carolina
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Driver's license with acceptable driving record
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in a clinical setting
