An ideal candidate would have:

• Ability to lift up to 100lbs
• Team player who is dependable and reliable
• Ability to abide by all safety policies and procedures
• ITA sponsored apprenticeship program
• Ability to work in a physically demanding, fast-paced and safe environment on both the roof and ground
• Prior roofing experience considered an asset
• Red Seal Ticket considered an asset
• Fall protection certification considered an asset
• First Aid Level 1 considered an asset
  

Some daily responsibilities:

• Site set up;
• Removing and disposing of old roofing materials
• Loading and unloading materials
• Job site clean-up
• Installation of a variety of roofing systems, including: Asphalt, Metal, Eco, Cedar and Flat
• Job leadership to new workers
