TECHNOLOGY DEPARTMENT

Our technology department is building systems that serve the best customers in the world - our customers. Our platform uses some of the most cutting-edge technologies available. We have built most of our systems on open-source technologies. We use Linux, PHP, Ruby on Rails, MySQL, Apache, Nginx and more (you can even help us figure out what else!).

1. Design, build and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Ruby code
2. Integrate of data storage solutions
3. Integrate user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic
4. Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems
5. Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation

Qualifications

1. 2+ years of development experience with Ruby on Rails (know everything in the Rails Guides)
2. Knowledge of the development infrastructure like Git, RSpec
3. Experience with JavaScript frameworks like Backbone, Ember, and Angular
4. Experience in configuration of Linux server environment
5. Excellent knowledge of web-based technologies and platforms
6. Good knowledge of PostgreSQL, MySQL, knowledge of the principles of indexing and normalization of data
7. Proficiency Nginx and Apache
8. Agile methodology
9. Knowledge of Russian is a bonus
