Role Overview:

The Sales Agronomist III willbe responsible formanaging existing and attracting new customers within the sales territory,assistingcustomers with proper product selection and use based on agronomic needs, andmaintainingand developing profitable customer relationships.

  • Manage existing and attract new customers within the sales territory

  • Assistcustomers in selecting and using products based on agronomic needs

  • Maintain and develop profitable customer relationships

  • Identifynew key customers, understand their business,determinetheir needs, and drive the team to achieve sales territory goals and growth

  • Manage territory budgeting, forecasting, and analysis

  • Follow credit policies and manage risk for the company

  • Lead the annual business plan tooptimizegrowth and profitability for the territory

  • Implement marketing and sales plans; meet sales goals; and network with industry representatives to expand sales opportunities

  • Be the primary customer contactregardingdeliveries, forecasting, credit, complaint handling, and custom applications

  • Lead and mentor team members, review the work of others, and provide constructive feedback

What You Bring to the Role:

  • 5+ years of experience

  • Ability to influence sales management to adoptnew ideas, practices, and approaches

  • Deep working knowledge of local agricultural crops and market practices

  • Provide clear direction and motivate others

  • Excellent presentation skills

  • Proficient in working with MS Office Suite

  • Work independently with general oversight

  • Agronomy/Agribusiness degree

Your Digital & Technology Capabilities:

  • Proficiencywith Microsoft Office applications and digital tools to support sales planning, forecasting, reporting, and customer relationship management

  • Ability toleveragedata, analytics, and reporting tools to drive territory performance,identifygrowth opportunities, and support data-driven decision making

  • Comfortable adopting emerging technologies such as Microsoft Copilot, AI-powered productivity tools, and digital collaboration platforms to improve efficiency and customer engagement

Compensation and Benefits:

  • In compliance with all states and cities requiring transparency of pay, the base compensation for this position ranges from $59,200 - $78,940. Note that salary may vary based on location, skills, and experience.

  • This position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and vacation, holidays, health, dental, vision, mental health, and retirement plan participation, including an employer contribution of up to 7% into your 401(k).
