About this role

We are seeking a highly motivated, driven, and commercially minded Sales Development Representative (SDR) to support our growing Sales team. This role is responsible for generating and qualifying new business opportunities while serving as a key entry point into FreedomPay's sales organization.

The SDR plays an important role in introducing prospective customers to FreedomPay's commerce platform, identifying potential business opportunities, and partnering with internal teams to ensure qualified opportunities are effectively transitioned through the sales process.

The ideal candidate is an ambitious early-career sales professional who is eager to learn, develop, and grow within a high-performing sales organization. What You'll Do:

Generate and qualify new pipeline through outbound prospecting, inbound lead follow-up, and targeted account engagement

Conduct discovery conversations to understand prospective customer needs, business objectives, and decision-making processes

Educate prospective customers on FreedomPay's platform, simplifying complex payments and commerce concepts into clear business value

Build relationships with key stakeholders across target accounts through personalized outreach and engagement

Partner closely with Account Executives and Sales Leaders to transition qualified opportunities and support pipeline growth

Collaborate with Product Marketing and other go-to-market teams to strengthen industry knowledge, messaging, and understanding of FreedomPay's value proposition

Maintain accurate pipeline, customer data, and activity tracking within CRM systems

Research target accounts, industries, and market trends to improve outreach effectiveness and customer engagement

Leverage AI-driven tools and automation to improve prospecting efficiency, research, and productivity

Operate effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment while continuously learning and developing new sales skills

What We're Looking For:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Sales, or a related field

1-3 years of experience in sales, business development, customer-facing, or related roles; experience within payments, fintech, SaaS, or technology environments is a plus

Proven ability to build relationships, engage prospective customers, and identify business opportunities

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to confidently engage a variety of audiences

Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies, products, and industries quickly

Ability to translate complex concepts into clear, customer-friendly messaging

Highly self-motivated, resilient, and goal-oriented with a strong desire to succeed

Curious mindset with a willingness to experiment with new tools, technologies, and sales approaches
